This 1980 Robert Perry Seamaster 46 was built in Taiwan by the Lien Hwa yard. Center cockpit with two staterooms and two heads. A very open Pilothouse design that provides great visibility while at anchor or underway and the ability to drive/sail the boat from the inside helm. Interiors are bright and airy with large hatches and quality Taiwanese teak interior accents. Bob Perry put a performance twist on a traditional motorsailer design resulting in an all-weather, blue-water, long distance cruising motorsailer.
The aft section has a unique open aft cockpit with a transom door and swim step, great for swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing and accessible from the master suite. At 25 Tons, her weight generates a beautiful motion on all points of sail. Her momentum carries her through chop, and in a light breeze she falls off with ease. For a vessel of her weight, she surprises many with her turn of speed in light conditions. Her generous modified fin keel has the safety of a skeg hung rudder. With high bulwarks and high lifelines, heavy layup and oversized rig, she is a safe, strong, long distance cruising platform, or a truly comfortable live aboard.
